Mauritius_Wedding-Jenneke+Justin

Shooting a wedding on an island is a sensory overload…there are just NO non-photogenic spots. Anywhere! Thank goodness that Jen & Just were so willing to work with us and follow every instruction to climb onto palm trees, walk over sharp rocks to that "perfect spot with the unreal light that we just can't pass by" and stand shivering in the water 'til we perfected the Trash the Dress shots...

Jenneke, originally from South Africa, and Justin, a Zimbabwean, met in London, where they still live. They got engaged in the Maldives and decided that they couldn't tie the knot anywhere else than on a beach. And so it was decided. A handful of family and friends flew in from all over to attend the noon ceremony  at Shandrani resort in Blue Bay, Mauritius.

A relaxed lunch followed at the Syrius restaurant, whereafter the bride and groom changed and treated their guests to a beach barbeque dinner, cooked by their own personal chef right on the spot!

The next day at four, we met up again and had some fun getting their (and our) clothes wet. The guests at the resort couldn't keep their eyes off the gorgeous couple frolicking around in the pool and in the sea with their wedding attire on…

We couldn't thank Jen & Just enough for their complete trust. We l-o-v-e-d every minute of getting to know you guys and photographing your wedding day.
